弗吉妮娅·格雷厄姆，Virginia Graham started in Chicago radio in the 1930s. After World War II she wrote scripts for several radio serials, including "Stella Dallas", "Backstage Wife", and "Our Gal Sunday". She was the hostess of television talk shows from the 1950s to 1970s that are considered forerunners to today's daytime TV.
