Christl Ehlers，Christina Ehlers left Germany in 1933 when Hitler came to power. She was the daughter of well-known harpsichordist, Alice Ehlers. Her father, Alfred Ehlers was an artist, lithographer and architect. Christina followed him to Mallorca, Spain, where he had intended to build a safe haven for his Jewish family and friends.
