George Cardini，Violinist, composer, songwriter ("From the Bottom of My Heart"), and author, educated at the Bologna Conservatory. He won a national violin contest in Italy, came to the United States in 1937, and performed in concerts at Town Hall, New York and throughout the United States. He also had a local television program in Roanoke, Virginia.
