Quinn Emmett was born in Williamsburg, Virginia. He attended Lafayette High School and Colgate University, graduating in 2005. He was on the varsity swim team in college, as well as playing club baseball and rugby. Quinn has studied with the Upright Citizens Brigade and Howard Fine, and is a regular improv performer with his team "Junk Rope".
