Kemmy Moran was born in Manhattan, New York, to two lawyers. She loved writing from a young age, and began to pursue it in earnest when she attended the Archer School for Girls in Los Angeles, California. While studying entertainment law at Pepperdine School of Law, Kemmy wrote in her free time and attended screenwriting classes and seminars.
