Rik Deskin was born in Hamilton Ohio on January 14, 1966. He grew up in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. At 16, he moved to Houston, Texas with his family. As a Junior he began taking Drama classes at Jersey Village High School under the tutelage of Hal Miller.
