George Contreras，George Luis Contreras was born in East Los Angeles, the eighth child in a family of nine. His father, Cruz Contreras, came to the United States as a migrant worker from a small "rancho" in Sianore de Topia, Durango, Mexico in 1969 in search of a better life... the American dream.
