Ernell Manabat was born to Ernie and Lourdes Manabat in St. Paul, Minnesota. Upon only living there for 10 months the family packed up and headed out west to Las Vegas. Ernell was first introduced to live performance at the tender age of 5 but it wasn't acting, it was singing.
