赫伯特·克莱因，Herbert Kline was a former editor of the magazine "New Theatre" and in the 1930s become involved with the New York Film and Photo League, where he was trained as a documentary director. He was one of the first Americans to arrive in Spain in the 1930s during that country's civil war, and filmed the documentary Heart of Spain (1937) about it.
