Yvette Curtis was born in the Bronx, New York on August 16, 1960. She began her career at the tender age of 3 as a singer/dancer, appearing in small dance recitals and off off Broadway musical productions. She performed as a singer at the World's Fair in Flushing, Queens in the mid-sixties.
