Her father Howard Stone, a CPA is from Chicago Il., and her mother Anneliese, a Beautician, was from Frankfurt Germany, and grew up during Hitler's reign of terror. Marla was raised by her father and step-mother Marilyn, an elementary school teacher, who was from Brooklyn, New York.
