Carlos Monsivåis was born on May 4, 1938 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. He was an actor and writer, known for Fonqui (1985), The Life and Times of Frida Kahlo (2005) and Los caifanes (1967). He died on June 19, 2010 in Mexico City.
