Joe Haworth comes from a theatrical family. His father William Haworth was a famous playwright; his uncle, Joe Haworth, was a top actor of the American stage in the last century, working with such greats as Edwin Booth. His brother-in-law was character actor Wallace Ford, and a brother, Ted Haworth, was an Academy Award-winning Art Director.
