Boyan Milushev was born in Bulgaria. In 2003, becomes naturalized citizen of the United States. Resides alternately between the U.S. and Bulgaria. In his late teens, Boyan enters a competition organized by the Entertainment Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bulgaria and wins the highest award.
