鲍里斯·安格斯泰，Latvian-born writer-director who had worked with Sergei Eisenstein in Russia. Ingster arrived in the U.S. during the 1930's, where he became best known as the director of Stranger on the Third Floor (1940), an effective minor film noir, produced by RKO on a modest budget.
