Michel Carré was born on October 20, 1821 in Besançon, Doubs, France as Michel Antoine Florentin Carré. He was a writer, known for The Adventures of Tintin (2011), Les contes d'Hoffmann (The Tales of Hoffmann) (1981) and Roméo et Juliette (1994). He died on June 27, 1872 in Argenteuil, Val-d'Oise, France.
