Rachel Appleton was born in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada on the 19th of May 1992 to (now ex-All Saints star) Natalie Appleton and The Dream Boys stripper Carl Robinson. She was later moved to be brought up in London, England where she now lives with her mother, Natalie Appleton, and stepfather, Liam Howlett.
