Matthew Hotsinpiller，Matt was born in Danville, Illinois, and grew up in northern New Mexico. He was involved in drama classes in school, from elementary through college. In the 1980s, he would go to sets with his grandfather, John Barks, who acted in several of the westerns filmed in New Mexico at the time.
