乔纳斯·马克科宁，Joonas Makkonen grew up in Vieremä, a small village located in East Finland. Joonas got his first camera at the age of 15, and since that moment on he started to make amateur films. Joonas graduated high school in 2005, and an year later he attended Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences, where he studied Art and Media.
