Camilo Vila was born in Havana, Cuba and immigrated to the United States as a young teenager. Raised thereafter in New York City, Puerto Rico and Miami, Camilo developed a love of people watching and storytelling. He pursued his passion at the School of Visual Arts NYC, studying film directing and photography.
