David Capurso，While a film student at Hunter College in New York City he received multiple art grants for his student short film Emily's Song. The short film became a cult hit and was quickly picked up for distribution by Producer Gill Holland. The short was considered by IndieWire as one of the best short films in the Cineblast Vol. 3 compilation.
