David Caprita was born a Navy brat in Jacksonville, Florida on September 30, 1953. He began his entertainment career in radio at the ripe age of 14, beginning in Pensacola and eventually hosting morning shows across the nation, including Miami, Seattle, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
