John Morton Blum，American writer, biographer and historian John Morton Blum was born in New York City in 1921. He graduated from Harvard University in 1943 with an A.B., received his M.A. from the university in 1947 and his PhD in 1950. He later became an associate professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
