Florin Tanase was born on April 13, 1944 in the city of Vulcan, in the Hunedoara county, Romania. He finished the 4 years study in Acting at the famous, internationally recognized "National University for Theatre and Movie" ("IATC", today "UNATC"), in 1968, at professor`s Costache Antoniu class, assisted by Victor Moldovanu and Petrica Vasilescu.
