Giuseppe Michele Luca，Michael DeLuca (Giuseppe Michele Luca) was born in Brooklyn, New York and was the first American-born child of Italian parents, Gaetano Luca (DeLuca) and Giuseppina DeLuca. His father was one of the most-acclaimed shoe designers of his time and came to America under contract to work for retail giant, "Saks Fifth Avenue".
