Chá，Cha! (as he spells his name, exclamation mark and all) was first known to the Mexican public as the bass player for the successful rock band Fobia. When the band split in 1997, he became a radio personality and continued running his design studio in Mexico City. He later founded another band, Moderatto, with most of Fobia's old members.
