Jon Trapnell，Jay spent his childhood in Arlington, VA growing up an only child, traveling the world with his mother and father, a U.S. Federal Employee. His parents once owned a home on Mallorca, Spain where he spent many a summer. He attended The College of William & Mary, but left before graduating to pursue a career in film.
