Jeff Levine started his career in music, working part-time in film along the way. In the late Eighties he turned to film full-time, eventually partnering with actor Nicolas Cage in 1995 to form Saturn Films. While at Saturn, he worked on a string of Cage`s projects and also developed and produced the cult classic, "Shadow of the Vampire.
