Alan Garner was born on October 17, 1934 in Congleton, Cheshire, England. He is a writer and producer, known for Lamaload (1981), Images (1981) and The Owl Service (1969). He has been married to Griselda Greaves since 1972. They have two children. He was previously married to Ann Cook.
