Abhishek Ray has been composing music since high school. He entered the Bollywood industry with a bang by singing and composing a trilogy of successful albums with the legendary poet Gulzar namely Udaas Paani, Raat Chand Aur Main, Kab aate ho. At the same time he composed for Tigmanshu Dhulia's Haasil while still in college.
