Samuel Haun grew up in East Texas with a very artistic family. After graduating from Longview High School, he traveled the world as a steel worker building satellite earth stations. In 2001, he joined the United States Navy and served directly in the Joint Task Force Horn of Africa campaign aboard the USS Mount Whitney.
