Janine Silvia's father dies. She finds a job but after a pass from her boss, she quits. She then works for a feminist newspaper. Guy d'Armel seduces her but Janine learns of his infidelity and goes crazy. Doctor Duval takes care of her, cures her and eventually marries her.
