Susan invites fairies from her backyard to a book club to discuss the mystery novel Murder on Sunset Blvd. The fairies make comments about the book like "Why don't humans fly?" "I wish they threw a magic potion instead of chasing the bad guys." The fairies impose their fairy point of view on the book, and Susan grows frustrated. She gets angry and tells the fairies that humans don't even believe they are real. The fairies are shocked and disappointed, and vow to keep an open mind so that they can continue to play with Susan.
