This Flemish comedy format (the title is a Dutch exclamation that can mean "ouch!" or "oops!", depending whether victim or perpetrator utters it) was a rapid succession of short sketches, usually with little or no text and mainly visual points, rather in Benny Hill's slapstick-style, but without recurring characters, just a pool of actors in very diverse, often caricature-like parts, often bungling professionals and innocent butts of accidents etcetera.
