The sudden death of his father lets him return to his home-village..somewhere in nowhere in northern Germany. After the funeral Phillip meets up with two childhood friends, whom he hasn't seen for 15 years. To find a purpose in life he has to confront his ghosts from the past - on the village bowling alley.
