Three siblings get separated from their parent(s) by going out to sea with a crusty old sea captain. When they put to shore for repairs, they transfer to another ship, run by a husband and wife who are going treasure hunting. After finding the sunken wreck they had targeted, their ship is boarded at night by thieves who take it over, casting the kids off in a dingy.
