Twelve young couples are introduced to a life of independent living. How will they cope with life outside the comfort of their family home? Each couple are given a property to road test for one week, based on their combined income. Will they succeed in building a life for themselves or will it prove too much and force the couple to run back to the 'Hotel of Mum and Dad' at the end of the week?
