On 8th March 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared from radar screens while flying from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Beijing Capital International Airport in China. Despite the efforts of governments and agencies five years on the mystery of what happened to this Boeing 777 and the 239 people on board remains unsolved. Many theories have been proffered over the years but no concrete proof has ever emerged. This documentary charts the search for the missing aircraft, using teams with hi-tech hydrophones searching for the plane's black box recorders, to cutting edge submersibles mapping the ocean floor for clues.
