the film by Pupi Avati, is set in the autumn of 1952. In the north-east the investigation into a murder trial of a teenager is underway, considered by the popular fantasy possessed. Furio Momentè ( Gabriele Lo Giudice ), inspector of the Ministry, leaves for Venice reading the minutes of the interrogations. Carlo ( Filippo Franchini ), the murderer, is a fourteen-year-old whose friend is Paolino. Their life is serene until the arrival of Emilio, a deformed being who is the only child of a landowner who would have torn to pieces his little sister. Paolino, to make himself beautiful, publicly humiliates him by provoking his anger: Emilio, furious, shows off a fair set of teeth. During the First Communion ceremony, Paolino in the moment of receiving the host, is pushed by Emilio. The particle falls to the ground forcing Paolino to crush her. Hence the beginning of a series of shocking events.
