Marina, is a performance artist who uses self-torture as an art form. When she realizes that the relationship with her father is poisoning her behavior discouraging anyone who is trying to love her, she decides to search out the past of her, tortured by the military junta, father. She will seek out the torturer and bring them together. When they meet they come to an understanding in silence injuring thus further the father-daughter relationship. However the discovery of the different perceptions of pain will make her see her father's choice, with compassion and redefine her life
