The Michael Jackson: After Life special is set to feature interviews with some people who worked with Jackson professionally, including Karen Faye, his personal makeup artist for nearly thirty years. The special will also look at Jackson’s legacy, the investigation of his death and report on updates on how his kids are doing. Viewers will also see a tour of Neverland Ranch and interviews with Justin Bieber, Usher and others. I’m going to say the same thing about this special as I did about the TV Guide special that’s also set to air on Friday: Put the issue to rest. If anything, air a tribute special that features his best videos and remarkable/notable moments from his life. At least ABC’s special doesn't seem to be focusing on the circumstances surrounding his death, plus the special won’t be split between the video and a scrolling list of what’s on TV… so it has that going for it against TV Guide’s special.
