Erik is on the road. He is walking from Rosengård in Sweden to Camino de Finisterre in Spain. His pilgrimage has a very symbolic dimension. The boy is carrying a baggage of difficult experiences that he might be able to shed soon and start a new life with his beloved Martyna. His path is not usual as he was born as a girl and it took him several years to understand his identity and find a place in the community of a small, religious town. He is not alone on his walk, as his relatives and the camera accompany him.
