tim is a 1976 suspense-drama film directed by Mike de Leon. The movie is actually de Leon's first directorial foray. The film itself was different from other films of the time in that it didn't have an angry, radical social message. The story focused on paranormal themes, such as ghosts and spiritual possession. The movie is also the first starring role of Charo Santos-Concio (then known as Charo Santos only). The story centers on Jun (Tommy Abuel), a photographer whose family estate is in the countryside. He visits his paralyzed father during Holy Week. While he is taking photographs of people and events in the small town, a procession passes by and he spies a young woman named Teresa (Charo Santos) wandering along with the procession. Later, he meets the woman and while making friends with her, he discovers that their lives are linked by his father's past. Jun feels strongly that Teresa is possessed by the spirit of his dead sister, Rosa. Teresa's mysterious possession by Jun's late sister is solved in a stirring climax involving Rosa's spirit taking revenge for the injustices inflicted on her.
