AMOR Y FRIJOLES is a story of two young girls who are best Friends, They both live in the Colonial town of OJOJONA in Honduras. They lead simple lives. Karen is Married to Dionisio who is a simple man with simple ambitions and just wants a baby. Karen is a more Implusive person who just wants to make her husband happy. Nicole who is Karens best friend is always jealous of Karen because everyone loves karen more... So the story weaves around the adventures of Karen trying to find out why her husband reaches home so late everyday. Karens work is revolved around selling "Baleadas" (a type of taco filled with beans and cheese") hence the name amor y frijoles. & most of the drama revolves around her work place. Finally after all the crazy adventures of having an affair and trying to get religion to fix her. Karen finally finds understanding with her Husband.
