Tom decides to give acting lessons,his first pupil being Linda's sister Sugar,who is preparing for a play and whom he takes to see 'Macbeth',where he ends up getting socked by Patsy Palmer. Linda acts as baby-sitter to Petula,a doll Suze and Jez have bought as a rehearsal for parenting but becomes so attached to it she refuses to return it - until its head blows up.
