Helene De Travillac, a sweet little French girl living with her Aunt in Paris, loves her handsome cousin, Andre D'Eguzon. Her aunt schemes to have Andre sent away, however, and in his absence, engages her niece to Valentine Borroyer, a boring and stodgy man of wealth.
