At the height of the Cold War, American B-52 bombers regularly flew reconnaissance missions from an Air Force base in North Carolina to the edge of Soviet air space and back. Each B-52 carried four armed thermonuclear bombs. This is the true story of one of those missions, and what transpired in a small Spanish fishing village, and in the air above it, one winter morning in 1966.
