After working ten years as a film director Arturo Ripstein made a 105minute documentary on the Mexico City prison named after the name of the prison, Lecumberri. We see the prison, its walls, the streets that surround it and the early twentiethcentury historical images of it. The film begins with a request for an appointment with the prison warden and ends with the story of a breakout.
