Johannes Fabrick's movie deals with the heart-breaking, but never kitschy story of Rebecca, a young girl fighting against leukemia, and the different ways her parents handle the desperate situation. While her mother Ellen concentrates grimly on Rebecca's health condition, her father Ralph doesn't let the disease rule his life.
