Coming with a group of peasants, season workers, from Bosnia to Banat, girl named Jana leaves her fiance and falls in love with Nikola. Her bitter compatriots are persuading her fiance to get his revenge, in the name of customs and laws of their native area. In the last moment, the peasants are preventing crime. Harvest is over. As usual, some are returning home, while others are adapting themselves to new life in rich Banat's land.
